CS-Cart Banner advance booking addon allows customers to easily advertise on your store. They can book banners for a set time. It is an easy way to showcase products or promotions. Admin has control over settings like auto-approval and payment methods for banner booking. They can also set reminder days and use multiple languages for support.
Admin easily organizes banner layout using grids and blocks. Customers can simply purchase banners on the website and see all the details in their accounts. The Admin can modify the status, banner image, and target URL even after a customer has purchased the banner.

How to Upload Zip file
On the Downloaded Addons page, click on >> Gear button then go to Manual installation. A pop window will be displayed, you can install an add-on by picking a tgz,gz,zip format archive and clicking Upload & Install.
After Successfully installing the add-on Goto >Add-on on the administration panel Add-on>Manage Add-on>Ecarter Techonology Pvt. lmt. you see no. of installed add-ons or newly installed add-ons and add-ons must be Active/On status if the addon is Off it is not working.
How addon Work
- Go to >> General Tab
- Click on items for menu links to directly access the addon.
Explanation of Settings tab
- Enable auto approval: If the auto-approval option is enabled, buyers can purchase and update booking banners without needing approval from the Admin.
- Enable Multi-Language image/URLs: If this box is enabled, it allows the buyer to add images and URLs in multiple languages, particularly in the case of a multilingual site.
- Reminder days: Reminder days are the number of days set to alert the buyer about the banner before it expires. Also, send notification to the customer.
- Allow payment methods: Enable multiple payment methods to offer customers various ways to pay. Admin can select more than one method.
- Enable Auto-renewal: If the auto-renewal option is enabled, the banner will renew automatically even if the expiration date has passed.
- Crone Key: The Cron Link is used for sending email notifications regarding Banner Expired and Auto-Renewal. When this URL hits, customers will receive notifications about banner expiration dates and auto-renewal. It's essential to hit this URL for these two above settings to take effect.
Creating Banner
- Go to >> Marketing menu
- Click on >> Banner Booking
- Select Banners
- Now, you can see no data found as no banners have been created here.
- Click on >> (+) icon to create a banner
- Name: In the new banner page, enter the name of the banner.
- Description: Here Admin can write banner description.
- Type: Select graphic banner as the banner type, as there is only one type of banner available here.
- Image: Click on local to upload a banner.
- Open in a new window: Enable this to open the product link or website link in a new window when the banner is clicked.
- Booking Price: Enter banner booking price.
- Booking Period: Enter number of days of booking period of this banner. This is set to notify the buyer about the expiration days of this banner.
- Advance booking: If this is enabled then the buyer can book this banner in advance.
- Available Since: Set the date from which the banner will be available in the store.
- Status: Set the status as active.
- At the end, click on >> create button.
- Here, you can see the notification of success and changes saved of the banner.
- Click on >> Save Button
Creating layout of this banner
- Go to the >> design menu
- Click on >> layouts
- Then, select layouts
- Switch to the >> homepage
- Go to >> (+) icon
- Click on >> Add Grid
- In general Tab, select 16 width of the grid.
- Click on >> Create Button
- Again Go to >> (+) icon.
- Click on >> Add Block
- Now, in adding block to grid page, Switch to >> Create New Block
- Click on >> Banner booking block
In the General tab, enter the Banner Booking Block name.
- Switch to >> Content Tab
- Click on >> Add Banners
- Now, Tick this Test 1 banner
- Then, click on >> Add banners and close.
- After successful addition of the banner in the block, you can see this type of notification.
- Now, Click on >> Create button
On the homepage of layouts, this is the new block that we have created.
How Customers Can Purchase Banners from the Storefront
- Go to the >> Storefront
- You can see the created banner in the storefront with the “Buy Now” button.
- Customers can click on this "Buy Now" button for buying this banner.
- Go to >> My Account
- Click on >> Banner Booking
- Here customer can see detailed information of this banner booking.
- Click on >> Buy Now
- Now, you can see the checkout page has opened.
- Click on >> Phone Ordering
- Tick the terms and conditions checkbox.
- Then, Click on >> Place Order
- Now you can see this successful order placed notification.
- Click on >> Order details
In this page, you can view complete information about the customer and the banner product.
- Again, Go to >> My Account
- Click on >> My Banners
- Here, customers can view and edit the information of their booked banners.
- Click on >> Edit Button.
- In General Tab, you can view banner details.
- Image: Below the image, you can find the 'Upload File' option, allowing customers to replace this banner image.
- Target Url: Here the customer can paste the URL of the product, store or any website they want to sell through this banner.
- At the end, Click on >> Update Button.
In the homepage of storefront, click on this banner to view the product linked for sale.
You can see a new window with the linked target product URL as we have enabled the ‘Open New Window’ option on the create banner page.
If a customer will switch from general to Statics tabs, here they can view number of clicks on the banner and number of cursor hovers on the banner.
Admin Use Banners Booking History
- In the Admin panel, Go to >> Marketing
- Click on >> Banner Booking
- Select >> Banners Booking History
- Here you can see the banner booking history page of the Admin.
- Click on >> Gear Button
- Then, select >> Edit
- Banner Booking Status: By selecting one of these options, the Admin can change the status of the banner. Also, they must provide a reason in the box below.
- Image: Admin can change the banner image by clicking on local.
- URL: Admin has the access to change the target URL attached by the customer.
- At the end, click on the update button.
- In my banner edit page, you can see updated current status and the reason provided by the Admin.
- Image: Updated image by Admin.
- Target Url: Updated link by Admin
