CS-Cart GTM Integration


After installing the add-on, the Admin will configure the module in the first place. To do so, the Admin will -
  • Enter the Google Tag Manager container ID. While a customer views a product that event is tracked. If a customer is signing up that event can be tracked. After adding a product to the cart that event can be tracked. If the user is on the shopping cart page that event can be tracked. After placing the order the order place event can be tracked.
Note: You must be logged in to the GTM and Google Analytics console using the same Gmail ID.

View Event Data in the Data Layer


After enabling the events in the configuration, the Admin can view the data in the data layer under the Google Tag Manager.
  • Product view event data can be viewed in the data layer.
  • When a customer signs up that event data can be viewed in the data layer.
  • After adding a product to the cart the Admin can view the data in the data layer.
  • After going to the cart the view cart event data is viewed in the data layer.
  • When the order gets placed this event data can be viewed in the data layer.
