We start from installing an add-on:
In add-on configuration we type API key and select between services Free and Pro. There are also available settings of auto-translation of products through CRON.
In tab "Default values" we can set default fields and languages used for translations.
For stores CS-Cart Ultimate and Ultimate B2B, it is also possible to select storefronts between which translations are made.
Tab "Characters counter" allows us to track how many characters were used during translation process.
In case of Multi-Vendor stores, DeepL configuration is also available on vendor configuration level.
On vendor plan level, it is also possible to enable or disable DeepL API for entire groups of vendors assigned to this vendor plan.
In product configuration, a tab "DeepL translations" is available. We have to select fields which will be translated, source language (from which fields will be taken) and target language (to which translated text will be put). Ultimate stores can also select storefronts between which translations will be made.
On below example, text was translated from English to Spanish.
It is also possible to mass-translate products using context menu on products list. Interface mirrors the functionalities of product card translations.
Translating only one field is now available through fields "Translate with DeepL", appearing next to all translatable fields in product configuration.
DeepL translations are available also for categories and promotions. They work in exactly the same way as translation of products.
