The Soft Solid Product Discount for This Promotion (ss_prom_discount_step) add-on for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor allows you to create promotions that offer discounts based on the number of items a customer adds to their shopping cart. This enables you to set up discounts on multiple products when a customer buys in quantities, rewarding larger purchases or incentivizing customers to buy more.
The ss_prom_discount_step add-on is a powerful tool for creating dynamic and flexible promotions in your CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor store. Extension to CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor allows you to set up promotion, so discount will be given for multiple products in basket. If customer adds two the same products to the cart, we can give discount for the second one. Add-on can also give promotions for other amounts of products. When customer buys multiple amount of products, more products will get discounted. If we have promotion "Third product 50% cheaper" and customer will add 6 of them to the cart, discount will be applied to 2 products etc.

Next we configure promotion conditions. On screen below, every second product will be discounted:
In "Bonuses" section we set up discount for product:
After adding products to cart, discount is active. One product was given discount 50%, as we set up in configuration:
If we will increase amount of products in cart, more products will get discounted. If we have 4 same products in cart, 2 of them will be discounted:
If we add 3 products to cart, only one will be discounted. If we add 5, two will be discounted etc.
Add-on also supports adding multiple products to "Products" condition.
Each product is calculated separately, so if only one product fulfills condition of quantity, promotion will still be active.
Add-on also allows using "Categories" condition as a source of products for discount. In such case, a special condition "Step of discounting products from selected categories" should be added.
In below example, whenever customer adds three Tablets or Laptops to the cart. he gets a 50% discount on the last one:
After adding products to cart, customer gets a discount. Products from other categories are ignored.
